Following a breakdown of the elevator, a man in his 50s suffered a heart attack after he climbed the stairs in his residential building. It is reported that the landlord was supposed to fix the elevator for two months.
The Kuwaiti citizen has been kept in intensive care after being saved on Monday, his wife, Umm Abdul Rahman told to reporter.
Umm Abdul Rahman also added the incident was the result of strained relations between landlords and some tenants amidst these difficult times.
She appealed to officials to help them and put an end to the suffering of all tenants. A report was filed with at the Police station when Umm Abdul Rahman went to the Salmiya police station along with a some of the tenants to file a complaint against the landlords. Policemen were sent to inspect the building after that.
