The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Monday said that 822 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus have been reported. There have been 601 recoveries too. Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, and Dr. Amna Al Shamsi, UAE Government spokesperson, in a press briefing gave an update on latest Covid-19 stats and steps taken to control the spread of the deadly virus in the country.

In the UAE, the total number of cases are now at 30,307 (active cases: 14,402) on the other hand, the number of total recoveries is 15,657.
Authorities confirmed 3 deaths as a result of the virus, taking the total number of deaths to 248 in the country.
The government wished a speedy recovery to all Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment, asking people to continue to cooperate with health authorities and follow all precautionary measures, particularly social distancing, to ensure safety.
