Muscat: The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in Oman during the weekend. The Alhajar Mountains and surrounding areas are likely to experience rain over the weekend.

There is a warning of rain from Friday to Sunday. Rain will be accompanied by wind and thunder. Rising dust cloud will cause reduced visibility, especially in South Bathina and North East Governorate. In parts of Low clouds continue to form along the coast of Dhofar Governorate. Officials have also notified.
