Preparations continue in the Kingdom to welcome Eid al-Fitr, with comprehensive organization and extensive preparation of mosques and prayer halls, in preparation for receiving worshipers and participants in this great religious occasion.
It was decided to hold Eid al-Fitr prayers in all mosques and centers affiliated with…Mosque management, advocacy and guidance BTaif Governorate. Prayers in open-air chapels were canceled this year, due to forecasts of continued rainfall.
This came after it was not possible to hold prayers in the open-air chapels based on warnings from the National Center of Meteorology regarding the continued rainfall expected from Saturday until next Thursday. This step comes in anticipation of the weather conditions and to preserve the safety of the worshipers.

In a related context, the Municipality of the Holy Capital began its preparations to welcome Eid Al-Fitr by preparing and equipping more than 400 mosques and prayer halls in Mecca. The secretariat has developed intensive cleaning programs to clean mosques and the surrounding squares, through dedicated field teams affiliated with the General Administration of Cleanliness.
The concerned authorities stressed the importance of providing a clean and tidy environment for worshipers and visitors during Eid al-Fitr, and providing the necessary services to ensure everyone’s comfort during this religious occasion in all regions and cities of Saudi Arabia.
It is noteworthy that the National Center of Meteorology predicted in its report: A number of regions of the Kingdom will witness moderate to heavy thunderstorms during this week, which coincides with the days of Eid al-Fitr.
