To ensure the security and privacy of personal information video conferencing platform Zoom has released an enhanced and encrypted version of the application. The country’s federal cybersecurity on Monday asked users to update their latest version. 

The latest certification-advisor recorded by the PTI said, “Zoom 5.0 has been released at the latest size which supports AES 256-bit GCM encryption of meeting data and greater resistance to interference. 

Other protection enhancements include converting the minimal default password length to 6 characters for webinars, meetings, and cloud recordings and giving the potential to admins to disable sharing on cloud recordings and placing their expiration times.
