Pakistan registered its single highest death toll of 78 in a day.
Islamabad: Even as the numbers of coronavirus cases crossed 66,000, the country’s Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that international flights can restart in and out of the country.
As of Saturday Pakistan’s daily counts of new Covid-19 cases showed a daily jump of close to 2,500.
Still the country has eased most of its lock-down restrictions and in starting of this month the Supreme Court even ordered to open shopping malls. Ignoring the request from the country’s medical profession, as they warn of more deaths to happen because of the spread of the coronavirus.
