Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Tuesday that he is in talks with petroleum ministers in Saudi Arabia, Gulf countries and Russia. Puri further said that they are working on many levels.

Petrol Diesel Rising Prices: The prices of petrol and diesel in the country have reached the sky. Their prices have also crossed Rs 100. Many people are facing trouble due to this. In such a situation, everyone’s eyes are on the government, whether it takes any big step towards reducing the prices of petrol and diesel.

Meanwhile, Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has given a statement on this on Tuesday. Puri has said that he is in talks with petroleum ministers in Saudi Arabia, Gulf countries and Russia.

Puri further said that they are working on many levels. This statement of the Petroleum Minister is very important at a time when many people in the country are worried about the ever-increasing prices of petrol and diesel.

Earlier, Hardeep Singh Puri had reiterated on Friday that the excise duty on petroleum products is funding the Kovid-19 vaccine and public welfare schemes. Puri had said on Friday that oil prices in the global market are expected to fall by the time India vaccinates its entire population. He indicated that there would be no need to cut taxes at that time.

Puri further said that the Center has been charging Rs 32 per liter as excise, whether the price of oil was Rs 19 per barrel or when it was at Rs 84 per barrel. He emphasized that oil prices have been rising after the global coal crisis, due to a difficult and extreme cold elsewhere between the two countries.

Let us tell you that the oil companies have not made any change in the prices of petrol and diesel for the second consecutive day on Tuesday. The common man has got relief for the second consecutive day.

The price of petrol in the national capital Delhi is Rs 107.59 per liter. While the price of one liter of diesel is stable at Rs 96.32. At the same time, the price of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 113.46 and the price of diesel is Rs 104.38 per liter.

Whereas, the price of petrol in Kolkata is Rs 108.11 while the price of diesel is Rs 99.43 per liter. On the other hand, in Chennai too, petrol is Rs 104.52 a liter and diesel is Rs 100.59 a litre.
