Now the government will give a pension of 36 thousand rupees annually to these farmers under the scheme. The scheme will greatly benefit those farmers, who are completely dependent on farming. That is, those who have no other means of livelihood. Let us know that four and a half lakh farmers of Haryana, three lakhs of Bihar, Jharkhand and about two and a half lakh farmers in UP have applied for the scheme.

Who can apply (Eligibility for PM Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana)
Any farmer between the age of 18 to 40 can apply for PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana. Applicants have to contribute partially between Rs 55 to 200 every month till the age of 60 years. After the age of 60, the farmers get a pension of 3 thousand rupees per month or 36 thousand rupees annually under the scheme. Apart from this, the applicant should have only five acres i.e. 2 hectares of cultivated land.

Kisan PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana, you will need to go to your nearest Common Service Center (CSC) and get yourself registered. For this, you will need Aadhaar card, 2 photos and bank passbook, copy of Khasra-Khatauni etc. There is no fee for application in the scheme.
Who cannot apply
However, some conditions have been laid to be included in this scheme. Under which people involved in Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) scheme, National Pension Scheme and Employees Provident Fund (EPFO) cannot apply for it.
