Cheap loans will be available from July 1
, under the PM Swanidhi scheme, from July 1, the street vendors will be provided loans at cheaper rates. Under the PM Swanidhi scheme, street vendors will be able to get loans up to Rs 10,000. This loan can be repaid in one year as monthly installment. The government has targeted to provide loans to about 50 lakh street-dwellers under this scheme.
Subsidy will be available on interest
There are many benefits of PM Swanidhi scheme. If the loan installment is repaid on time or ahead of time, the beneficiary will be subsidized at 7% per annum interest, which will be credited to the account on half-yearly basis.
Nodal Officers will be for assistance The
Ministry of Personnel has informed that Nodal Officers have been appointed for this scheme, who will monitor it. Nodal officers will also solve every problem encountered in the scheme. Ministry of Housing and Urban Development will provide duty charter of nodal officers.
