The White House in the US has been put under a lockdown as violent protests following the death of an unarmed black man in police custody, reached Washington.
Today marks the fourth day of the mass protest by people against the incident happened in Minneapolis.
A video surfaced online showed hundreds of people protesting in Lafayette Park right outside the White House on Friday, repeatedly saying “No justice, no peace.”
Freedman’s Bank Building was also not spared, one protester sprayed on it, while some other protestors clashed with Secret Service officers, eye-witnesses said. As a precautionary measure, the doors to the White House briefing room is now locked and nobody is allowed to come near to the White House grounds.
