Saudi announced 50 percent discount on traffic fines

Riyadh: In Saudi Arabia, a large reduction in traffic fines has been announced. This year, 50 percent discount is given for fines till April 18 and 25 percent for fines recorded after that.

According to the order of King Salman and c, the Ministry of Interior announced the concessions. The project will be implemented with the help of the Ministry of Finance and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority. All outstanding fines must be settled within six months. Each fine can be paid separately or together.

But this benefit does not apply to fines imposed in cases affecting public safety. The Ministry of Home Affairs has also decided to impound the vehicle and take other legal action if the fine is not paid.
