Dubai : Saudi Arabia and UAE have announced special visas for Indians. Dubai has announced a five-year multi-entry visa, while Saudi has announced a 96-hour free visa. Both the countries are looking towards attracting tourists by offering visas.

So that more people reach their place and the economy benefits. These offers from two big Muslim countries, Saudi and UAE, have come at a time when relations between India and Maldives are tense. The beaches of Maldives have been a great favorite of Indian tourists but after the recent tension, there has been a decline in the number of Indians visiting Maldives.

Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has said that a five-year multi-entry visa has been introduced to promote travel between India and the Gulf country. Issued within two to five working days of the service request being accepted, this visa allows its holder to stay in the country for up to 90 days.

Which can be extended once for the same period. In this, one can stay for 180 days in a year. According to DET data, around 25 lakh tourists from India arrived in Dubai between January and December 2023. This number was 18 lakh in 2022. DET said that through this important initiative it will become easier for tourists.
