Saudi Arabia hosts annual meetings and celebrations Golden jubilee of the Islamic Development Bank Group in Riyadh from April 27 to 30, under the patronage of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that this year’s meetings will be held under the slogan “Pride in our past and shaping our future: authenticity, solidarity and prosperity.”

And describes the bank It calls itself a pivotal platform for development dialogue, and said it is celebrating 50 years of promoting social and economic growth among its members.

As a multilateral development bank, this event is expected to attract significant international and regional interest.

Who is participating in the event?

Participants will include ministers of economy, planning and finance from the 57 member states of the Bank, along with representatives of international and regional financial agencies and organizations, Islamic banks, the private sector, development finance institutions, non-governmental organizations, and chambers of commerce and industry.

Organizers said the annual gathering serves as a vital forum to strengthen economic relations and expand cooperation among participants.

What does the agenda include?

Its agenda includes forums, seminars and meetings on a range of topics, with particularly notable events including the Governors’ Roundtable, the 18th IDB Global Forum on Islamic Finance, and the IDB Group Private Sector Forum.

What are the discussion topics?

Discussion topics will include the role of small and medium enterprises in the development and diversification agenda of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, strategies for financing efforts to achieve sustainable development goals, leveraging Islamic finance to develop resilient infrastructure, and creating resilient infrastructure.

The Future Vision Symposium and the General Assembly of the Union of Consultants in Islamic Countries will also be held during the conference.
