RIYADH: The Ministry of Culture started its fashion incubation program on Thursday. The event is designed to highlight, support and promote local creatives and entrepreneurs in the fashion sector.
The first phase of the program is a three-day virtual “fashion hackathon” which, according to the ministry’s website, will see participants “divided into small groups” to solve some specific challenges in the field over a period of time. The winners will receive a five-day trip to Milan Fashion Week, while three runners-up will receive financial prizes and other awards.
