  • King Abdulaziz International Airport topped the list of major Saudi airports in terms of the number of flights, at a rate of 30 flights per hour.
  • King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh came in second place with a rate of 27 flights per hour.
  • King Fahd International Airport came third with 11 flights per hour.

During the year 2023, domestic flights recorded a noticeable increase in the number of passengers and flights, as the number of passengers reached about 51 million passengers, through more than 421 thousand domestic flights from various airports in the Kingdom.
The volume of air freight at Saudi airports increased by 7%, with a total of 918 thousand tons during the year 2023, compared to 854 thousand tons in 2022.
