Saudi Arabia signs new partnerships to raise Saudization rates in the municipal and housing sectors

Signing a series of strategic agreements with a number of national companies and institutions, with the aim of enhancing local competencies and increasing the percentage of local employment in the municipal and housing sectors.

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing concluded several agreements aimed at empowering national cadres and increasing Emiratisation rates in the municipal and housing sectors.

The Ministry signed agreements with the General Corporation for Technical and Vocational Training, the National Building Academy, Tilal Real Estate Company, and the Saudi Technical Institute for Electricity Services, in the presence of the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.

The first agreement with the General Corporation for Technical and Vocational Training aims to activate joint cooperation by studying the current situation of the two sectors and coordinating training and qualification programs for the targeted jobs within the Saudization project. The agreement also includes working to launch strategic partnerships to enhance training, qualification and nationalization opportunities, and to exchange experiences, knowledge and research results in the fields of training and quality.

The purpose of the second agreement with the Saudi Technical Institute for Electrical Services is to provide training and employment opportunities for job seekers through advanced training programs, which contributes to developing specialized human competencies in the relevant sectors.

The third agreement with the National Building Academy aims to enhance the development of human competencies and raise the level of participation of Saudi youth in the municipal and housing sectors. This agreement includes organizing workshops to support and stimulate training processes, develop skills, and follow up on the development of trainees after the end of the training period.

While the goal of the fourth agreement with Tilal Real Estate Company was to increase the rate of Saudization and contribute to providing appropriate job and training opportunities, in addition to enhancing the participation of national cadres in the real estate sector.

These agreements come within the framework of the initiatives of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing to develop strategic partnerships, with the aim of enhancing integration between various government and private sectors, in order to enhance capabilities and develop human skills, and increase the rate of Emiratization in the various sectors that are subject to the supervision of the Ministry.
