Riyadh: The Ministry of Interior has launched a digital identity service for those coming to Saudi Arabia on Hajj visa this year.

This is part of the Saudi government’s efforts to enable digital transformation and technology to serve humanity. The Ministry of Interior explained that the digital identity for pilgrims was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority.

With this, pilgrims can prove their identity electronically through the Abshir and Tawakalna platforms. Can be easily used on the go. It has been developed to enhance the quality of services provided to pilgrims and to enhance and enrich their experience.
