The deal regarding the football club Newcastle has been mired in controversy. Many international organizations have opposed the giving of this club to the public fund of Saudi Arabia.

Newcastle Takeover: The recent deal regarding the football club Newcastle, which is participating in the Premier League, has been disputed. The club has been jointly bought by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund and some other groups, but other teams affiliated with the Premier League have raised objections to this deal.

The reason for this is that the group that has bought this club is headed by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman. Now an emergency meeting is being called regarding this deal.

In fact, the Premier League announced on Thursday that Newcastle Football Club has been bought by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, PCP Capital Partners and RB Sports & Media. Earlier a bid of $ 415 million was made for this football club, but later it was postponed, although now this process has been completed.

Many clubs have objected to this deal, because after this deal, 80 percent of Newcastle’s stake will go to the Public Investment Club of Saudi Arabia. The chairman of this club is King Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia.

This is the reason why objections have been raised by many clubs. There have been many allegations against Mohammed bin Salman in the last few years, in such a situation, the companies associated with the Premier League wanted this deal not to go into the hands of Saudi Arabia, but after all the debate, the deal was done.

Amnesty International has also appealed to the Premier League to cancel this deal, so that Mohammed bin Salman does not affect football in any way. Amnesty says that Mohammed bin Salman’s image has been a human rights suppressor, so associating his name with a sport like football does not send the right message. Live TV
