Muscat: Schools in four governorates of Oman have been declared closed today (March 6) due to unstable weather. This decision of the ministry is due to heavy rains. All public, private and international schools in the four governorates of Al-Dahira, Al-Dakhiliya, South Al-Sharqiya and North Al-Sharqiya have been declared an educational holiday on Wednesday, March 6.
At the same time, the weather report says that the unstable weather in Oman will continue till Thursday. The announcement of the Civil Aviation Committee is that there is a possibility of heavy rain and wind with thunder in various governorates. The authority informed that people should take precautions.

As part of low pressure, the Civil Aviation Authority had earlier informed that there is a possibility of heavy rain in most of the governorates of Oman from Monday. It is also reported that there will be strong winds and thunder along with the rain. The authority has informed that in view of the rain warning, the ship passengers should not land in the valleys and check the visibility and sea conditions.
