Schools will remain closed on April 16 due to rain in Oman

Muscat: Due to the ongoing unstable weather in Oman, schools in the country will be closed on April 16. However, this decision does not apply to Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates. The death toll rose to 12 due to heavy rains on Sunday. The search is on for those missing in the current.

In Oman, where 12 people, including children, died in the heavy rains that fell on Sunday, there is a warning that heavy rains will continue on Monday. And strong winds and hail are likely. Rain and wind are expected in North Al-Sharqiya, South Al-Sharqiya, Al-Dakhiliya, Muscat, South Al-Bathina and Al-Dahira governorates and in some parts of North Al-Bathina, Al-Buraimi, Musandam and Al-Wusta governorates.
