He is the second Shah of Saudi to do so. Earlier in 1957, his brother and Saudi Shah Saud addressed the General Assembly.

Salman said in his address about the Islamic country, terrorism, Iran and Israel. He emphasized the basic policies of his government and the importance of Saudi Arabia. He described himself as the patron of Islam’s holiest shrines and also reiterated his promise to the Palestinians. Shah Salman is also known for speaking publicly on a few issues. During the Shah said, “Saudi Arabia has a special and historical responsibility in the Islamic world to protect our religion from terrorist organizations that are defaming it.” Explain that Saudi Arabia has a major role in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
