Somalia capital Mogadishu Suicide bomber: There was a suicide attack on an ice cream shop in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. In which at least 7 people have died. According to Aljazeera, senior police officer Mohammad Dahir said that more than 10 people were injured in the attack. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. He said that the death toll may increase as the condition of some of the injured is very critical. The al-Qaeda-linked Islamic terrorist organization Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for the attack. Somalia government spokesman Salah Umar Hassan has also confirmed the attack.

According to foreign media reports, the attack near an ice cream shop in Mogadishu occurred hours after the visit of US acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller. Christopher Miller visited US Ambassador and military personnel in Mogadishu.

According to police, the attack occurred near the Gelato Divina Restaurant International Airport. Which is located near the K4 junction in the center of Mogadishu. Earlier on November 17, five people were killed in Mogadishu. On 17 November, a suicide bomber blew himself up near a police academy. Thousands of people have died in fighting between armed groups and Somali government forces in the last 30 years. The terrorist organization Al-Shabaab carried out a terrorist attack in the capital Mogadishu in August this year. 10 civilians and a police officer were killed in this bomb attack.
