Legendary Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo has added to his collection of awards as he was officially named as the ‘Player of the Century‘ at the Globe Soccer Awards.
The global icon, Cristiano Ronaldo, beat both his eternal rival Lionel Messi and Mohamed Salah to the award, with Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski named as the ‘Player of the Year‘ for 2020.
The Juventus superstar has won the Ballon d’Or on five occasions, along with a plethora of other high-profile accolades.

Ronaldo’s former club Real Madrid were labelled as the club of the century, after winning five Champions League titles and seven LaLiga’s during the last 20 years.
Earlier, The Juventus Star Cristiano Ronaldo had found a place in Ballon d’Or all-time dream team that also features Pele and Diego Maradona (late).
Ronaldo, a two-time World Cup winner and dual Ballon d’Or recipient, also expressed pride as he stood for the 9th position. Gautam Gambhir criticized Dinesh Karthik’s decision to relinquish the captaincy, asked- did the batting improve
