Muscat: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the ruler of Oman, has been given the Arab Parliament’s ‘Leadership Award’. The respect is in consideration of the services rendered by the Sultan for solving the problems of the Arab countries.
On behalf of the Sultan, the Deputy Prime Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and the Special Representative of the Sultan, Syed Asad bin Tariq Al Saeed received the award.

Arab Parliament Speaker Adil Abdurrahman Al Azumi and his delegation came to the office and handed over the award. The award ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Shariah Council, Khalid Bin Hilal Al Mawali, and members of the Arab Parliament.
