UAE Cabinet Announces Eid Al-Fitr holiday dates for Federal Government

The Cabinet has issued directives regarding the commencement of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday within the federal government, setting it to begin on Monday, April 8, 2024, for a duration of one week.

Official working hours will resume on Monday, April 15, 2024. The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has disseminated a circular to all federal entities, informing them of the arrangements for the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

In compliance with these directives, federal government employees will observe the Eid Al-Fitr holiday starting on Monday, April 8, 2024, with a week-long break. This period allows individuals to partake in festivities and observe religious traditions associated with Eid al-Fitr. However, it’s important to note that normal working hours are scheduled to resume promptly on Monday, April 15, 2024.
