UAE Central Bank: November 11th is the date for launching a new currency bills tender

The tender, as reported by the Central Bank, includes a short-term issuance of 28-day Treasury bonds “M-BILL” worth up to AED 3,500 million.

The tender, as reported by the Central Bank, includes a short-term issue of treasury bonds “M-BILL” for a period of 28 days with a value of up to AED 3,500 million, a medium-term issue for a period of 84 days with a value of AED 5,500 million, and two long-term issues with periods of 168 days and 336 days with values ​​of up to AED 8,000 million and AED 16,500 million, respectively.

The bank set November 13 as the date for issuing these bonds, with precise maturity dates for each issue, namely December 11, 2024, February 5, 2025, April 30, 2025, and October 15, 2025, respectively.

It is noteworthy that the total number of tenders offered by the Central Bank for monetary bills amounts to about 26 tenders during the current year.
