Driving license is not easily available, one has to pass the test- There are various procedures that people have to go through in order to get a UAE driving license. The dream of many expats is to get a UAE driving license. But getting a driving license is not an easy task because for this some tests are conducted which have to be passed. However, some countries do not require a driving license test.
The United Arab Emirates has also included many countries in the list whose citizens are not given a driving license.
These countries have got exemption
An initiative called ‘Markhoos’ is run by the Ministry of Interior in which driving license is allowed to be changed. This allows expatriates to drive with their national driving license or they can switch to a UAE license after obtaining a UAE Residency Permit.
