UAE Latest News: A case of misbehavior with the driver has come to light in Dubai, in which the court has given severe punishment to the accused. According to the information received, the 32-year-old Asian accused had ordered two phones online. When the delivery driver reached his house to deliver the phone, the accused took the phone and refused to give the money. He also had a fight with her.
According to the police records, the delivery worker lodged a complaint in the matter and said that he had gone to deliver the phone in Deira area after which the accused came to the designated place and started checking the phone whether it was in good condition or not. After this, started running away with the phone.
After this the delivery worker also started running after him. When the accused was caught, he started assaulting and snatching the workman. But the victim caught hold of him and took him to the police station and registered a case.
The accused was sentenced to jail and fine
In this case, the accused has been sentenced to one month in jail. He has also been fined Dh14,000 and will be deported from the country after serving his jail term.
