The Prince In order to honor mothers, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, launched the “Mother’s Endowment” campaign.
The campaign’s goal is to create an endowment fund that will support the provision of sustainable education opportunities globally. This initiative aims to allow people to make donations to the “Mother’s Endowment” in honor of their moms while also assisting with education and skill development in underprivileged communities. It is run by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation.

The overarching goal of the campaign is to enhance educational access and quality across academic, professional, and vocational levels while promoting values such as filial piety, compassion, and solidarity within society. Emphasis is placed on recognizing the pivotal role of mothers in fostering a supportive family environment conducive to children’s education. Additionally, the campaign aims to bolster the UAE’s reputation in charitable and humanitarian endeavors.
How to donate
Website
The campaign’s website, Mothersfund.ae, welcomes donations by individuals, businesses and institutions inside and outside the UAE.
Call Centre
Those wishing to donate to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign can contact the dedicated call centre on toll free number 8009999 between 10am and 5pm, seven days a week, to arrange for a donation towards supporting the education of vulnerable individuals.
Bank transfers
Direct bank transfers are also possible and should be made to the campaign’s official Emirates Islamic Bank account number (AE790340003708472909201) in UAE dirhams.
SMS
One-off donations to the campaign can be made via SMS by sending the word “Mother” to dedicated du and etisalat bye& numbers as follows: SMS “Mother” to 1034 to donate AED 10, to 1035 to donate AED 50, to 1036 to donate AED 100 AND TO 1038 to donate AED 500.
Dubai Now app
The Mothers’ Endowment campaign also enables donations through the DubaiNow app, under the ‘Donations’ tab, as Digital Dubai cooperates with the campaign to facilitate contributions.
Jood platform
Donating to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign can be also done by creating a special portfolio for institutions and individuals via the Dubai community contributions platform Jood (www.jood.ae).
The platform allows individuals, businesses and institutions in both the private and public sectors, as well as celebrities, communities and cultural, sport and art groups to launch mini campaigns via Jood, encouraging friends, colleagues and followers to join in.
