There were 1,297 coronavirus related in the United States on Thursday, bringing the total number of deaths to 101,573 since the global pandemic started. The tally is kept by Johns Hopkins University.
The US has also officially recorded 1,720,613 cases of the covid-19 cases, much more than any other country in the world. This is as per the tally kept by the Baltimore-based university shared at 8.30 pm (4.30 am GST Friday).
