Violations of leased buses in Saudi will be monitored from April 21

Riyadh: The Public Transport Authority has announced that the automatic monitoring system for violations related to bus rental activities will start on the 21st of this month. Buses running international services will also come under surveillance.

There will be automatic monitoring systems in all areas of the country. Six legal violations will be monitored through this system. These violations include driving a bus without an operating card, driving a bus with an expired operating card, and operating a bus beyond the authorized operating period.

The authority has asked bus rental companies operating in the international transport sector to rectify the violations and ensure that no buses are run in violation.
