An official confirmed that India won’t fly special flights to send back stuck UAE residents.
Dubai: As per reports, Indian missions in the UAE are waiting for more clarity on the procedures for the return of UAE residents stranded in India.
India’s Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Sunday i.e May 24 issued a Standard Operating Protocol (SOP) for movement of UAE residents stranded in India who want to travel back because of urgent reasons.
It is said that for this purpose, such people would have to apply to the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) or to any agency designated by MoCA, along with their necessary details, which includes the places of departure and arrival, as prescribed by MoCA.
