Woman went to work in Dubai: Fraud agents sending in the name of work to Gulf countries have been exposed. Many times such incidents come to the fore in which agents cheat by promising good salary abroad by targeting innocent employees.

First they arrange their passports and visas and send them to Gulf countries and then they are ill-treated and held captive and made to work as servants. During this, they are kept hungry and are not given any kind of facilities.

A 24-year-old woman from Ludhiana had gone to Dubai to work but was forced to become a victim of human trafficking in Oman. When the woman refused to work as a domestic worker, the agents demanded Rs 2.15 lakh for her release.

Woman’s passport was confiscated

Let us tell that when the passport of the woman was taken and when she asked for the passport, a demand of Rs 2.15 lakh was made from her. The relatives of the woman arranged ₹100000 but to no avail, she did not get the passport.

The woman somehow saved herself and reached the Indian Embassy and from there returned to Delhi with a white passport. The woman has lodged a complaint against the three accused at the local police station.
