10,000 expatriate workers were dismissed from Kuwait in five years

Kuwait City: 10,000 expatriate employees were dismissed from the government sector in Kuwait in five years. This action is a part of providing jobs to the natives.

In the first year, 3,140 people were dismissed, the Arab Times reported, quoting the Al Anba newspaper. In subsequent years, 1550, 1437, 1843 and 2000 were dismissed respectively. Many Malayalees who are government employees lost their jobs due to this action.
