Sharjah: A five-year-old boy died after falling from a building in the UAE. A boy from Nepal died after falling from the 20th floor of a building in Sharjah.
The incident took place on Tuesday around 3 pm. A child died after falling from a residential building in Sharjah. Sharjah Police has started an investigation into the incident. The boy fell from the window of an apartment in a tower located in the Bu Danig area of the emirate.
It is believed that the child got into the chair placed near the window. A team from Al Gharb police station, forensic experts and paramedical team reached the spot as soon as they got the information. The child died on the spot.

The body was taken to Al Qasimi Hospital and later to the forensic laboratory. The police said that after completing the procedures, the body will be handed over to the parents. Preliminary investigation revealed that the cause of the incident was the carelessness of the adults. The police informed that the parents will be questioned later.
The police reminded that children should always be kept safe and supervised by their parents. The authorities asked that movable objects should never be placed near windows or balconies and that children’s access to balconies should be closely monitored. The initial investigation revealed that the neglect of the elders was the cause of the incident.
