The Donald Trump administration’s attempt to reconcile Qatar and Saudi Arabia seems to be successful. The Trump administration, during the last days of its tenure after signing an Israeli agreement with Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has been putting its strength to normalize relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Jared Kushner, an advisor to President Trump, has stepped up America’s mediation initiative. First he interacted with the leaders there in Saudi Arabia. These include Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is now considered the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia. After traveling to Riyadh, Kushner arrived in Doha on Wednesday.

Saudi Arabia and Qatar are both neighboring countries, but they have been in conflict for more than three years. Many other countries of the Gulf region are also involved in this. It is now reported that the initial agreement between the two countries has been agreed. In Doha, Kushner has left for the US after talks with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

According to reports in US media, the first agreement is being made on whether to allow Qatar planes to pass through Saudi Arabia and UAE airspace. In June 2017, when the Gulf region was born in the Gulf, the UAE, Egypt and Bahrain joined Saudi Arabia. Together these four countries had laid siege to Qatar. The four countries alleged that Qatar was helping Aatankwaad.

Qatar has a good relationship with Iran, which these four countries do not like. Iran is also accused of these countries being involved in creating a “stable” by promoting progressive activities in the region. There is also a shout out of Qatari to Saudi camp countries that its Al-Jazeera TV channel running from here shows the news of Gulf countries in such a way that they have to face trouble. In 2017, the four countries gave a 13-point ultimatum to Qatar to end the siege. It also demanded the closure of the Al-Jazeera channel. Since then Qatar has consistently described all the allegations leveled against it as baseless and advocated a solution to the negotiations.
