During his trial at the Dubai Criminal Court, he said the bullets were accidentally left in his luggage and were old and useless. Subsequently, customs inspection found that the cartridges were not useless. The accused said that after leaving the UAE for New York with three bags, he traveled to various places before returning to New York. It was there that the bullets were accidentally put in the bag. This was a bag that was not meant to be brought back to the UAE. He said that he had forgotten that he had bullets when he returned.

In the US, a license to carry a firearm was allowed during military service. These are its bullets. The Air Traffic Controller’s lawyer argued that if the bullets were deliberately smuggled, they would have been hidden in the bag and the bullets were found in the bag in such a way that anyone could pick them up. The court heard the argument and acquitted the accused.
