Saudi traffic department reminded fine for using mobile while driving

The traffic department has reminded that the fine for using a mobile phone while driving in Saudi Arabia is up to 900 riyals. A notification regarding various fines has been posted as a reminder on the official X account. The minimum fine for using a mobile phone while driving is 500 riyals. It can go up to 900 riyals. The warning also details some other traffic violations that carry a fine of 500 to 900 riyals. They are as follows.

1. Follow emergency vehicles such as ambulances.
2. Parking in spaces reserved for special vehicles.
3. Going without stopping at places where stopping is required.
4. Ignoring signals.
5. Violation at Roundabout.
6. Driving inside tunnels without head lights.
7. Loading of light transport vehicles in excess of limit.
8. Unnecessary sounding of alarm in emergency vehicle.
9. Disregarding the vehicle in front at road junctions or intersections
10. Disregarding vehicles coming from other directions while making a U-turn.
11. Not giving priority to vehicles coming from the main road.
12. Not giving priority to trains and buses
13. Using any device like mobile while driving.
14. Transporting passengers to places not designated for them.
15. Writing, drawing and pasting stickers on vehicle body without permission of authorities.
16. Forgetting vehicle glasses without following prescribed regulations.
17. Driving a vehicle on public roads in a way that pollutes the environment.
18. Use of vehicle for purposes not specified in permit.
19. Unsecured and uncovered carriage of load in vehicle
