Dubai: Expat dentist couple gets UAE Golden Visa

The grateful couple aims to provide latest treatments in dentistry at affordable rates in UAE.

UAE resident Dr Deepak Sharma, Specialist Orthodontist and wife Dr Anukriti Pathak, Specialist Pediatric Dentist, are among the latest recipients of the prestigious golden visa, offered by the UAE authorities under the category of medical professionals/ doctors.

Dr Sharma received his special visa on June 21, while Dr Pathak received it a day later.

Speaking to Khaleej Times, Dr Sharma said, “We are very blessed and thankful for the Golden Visa, which is valid till June 2031. Our daughters Sia and Ira have also received their Golden Visa.”

Dr Pathak said: “We are extremely happy. This is one of the cherished moments of our lives. I am very thankful to the UAE government and the authorities,”

Hailing from Bharatpur in Rajasthan state, the couple moved to UAE in 2015 after having worked in Saudi Arabia, India, and Nepal.

The duo took up dental jobs at a local hospital in Dubai before establishing their own multi-speciality polyclinic at Port Saeed in Deira and Ibn Batuta Gate offices.

“After living in the UAE for 6 years, it feels like home. I am forever grateful to the great leadership and the government of UAE. I feel so honoured,” Dr Sharma said.

Dr Sharma holds a Masters degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and Dr Pathak has a Masters Degree in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from Karnataka’s Manipal University.

After this special recognition, the dentist couple has decided to bring the latest innovations and techniques in dentistry to UAE – making it available to the people of UAE at affordable rates.

“It is a general notion that dental services are expensive but our motto is to make it as reasonable as possible,” Dr Sharma added.
