Dubai International Airport expects to receive 3.7 million passengers during the Eid Al Adha holiday

Dubai International Airport is preparing to receive more than 3.7 million passengers during the Eid and school holidays, while providing fast travel procedures.

Expect Dubai international airport, receiving more than 3.7 million travelers during the Eid al-Adha and school vacation period, which extends from June 12 to 25.

The airport said in a statement it published Emirates News Agency (WAM)Average daily traffic reaches 264,000 passengers, with June 22 expected to be the busiest day, as the number of passengers may exceed 287,000.

As part of its preparations for this peak season, Dubai International Airport stressed its commitment to providing a smooth and enjoyable travel experience for all travelers heading to spend their summer vacation.

To achieve this, Dubai International Airport gives priority to expediting travel procedures, providing travelers more time to enjoy the various services provided by the airport.

To facilitate the travel process and ensure a comfortable experience, Dubai Airports has provided a set of guidelines and advice for travelers, including:

  • Early check-in or from home
  • Use self check-in
  • Early arrival to the airport
  • Verify the permitted baggage weight
  • Prepare for security checkpoints
  • Use smart gates
  • Ensure the weight allowed by the airline and baggage regulations, to avoid any last-minute delays

Dubai Airports reported that families traveling with children over the age of 12 can use smart gates to speed up the passport verification process.

It also recommended using the Dubai Metro to get to and from the airport and between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, to avoid crowding.
