Ras Al Khaimah: Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority has rolled out free high-speed WiFi on all its public buses—both within the emirate and on intercity routes.
This initiative is part of the authority’s ongoing efforts to enhance the passenger experience and support the digital transformation of public transport.
Passengers can now enjoy a more connected and productive journey, whether browsing the web, checking emails, or completing tasks while on the move.
Ismail Hassan Al Baloushi, Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority, said: “Introducing smart and innovative services is part of our commitment to improving public transport and meeting the needs of the community. By offering free onboard internet, we aim to make commuting more efficient and provide digital services that contribute to a better quality of life across the emirate.”
This move is one of several strategic projects by the authority to promote smart mobility, improve customer satisfaction, and encourage more people to consider public transport as a sustainable and efficient option.
The WiFi service will also be continuously monitored and improved to ensure reliable, high-quality internet access for all passengers—meeting both user expectations and the authority’s goal of delivering standout digital services.
