As tensions continue to escalate between India and Pakistan, a number of UAE airlines have extended suspension of flights to Pakistani soil.
The two neighbours have exchanged fire since New Delhi launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, and Pakistan announced launching a military offensive against India on Saturday.
Pakistan aviation authority said earlier that the country’s airspace will remain closed for the next 24 hours.
Flights between Pakistan and the UAE via Emirates will remain suspended until Monday, May 12, “due to ongoing uncertainty surrounding access to Pakistan’s airspace and airports.”
