Muscat: Heavy rain likely in Oman from tomorrow. It is predicted that the country will receive heavy rain for two days as part of the formation of low pressure. The Civil Aviation Authority has informed that there is a possibility of rain and wind in the northern governorates of the country for two days as part of the low pressure.

Rain is likely on Tuesday, March 26 and Wednesday, March 27. Alhajar mountain range and Dhofar, Sharqiya and Alwasta governorates will receive rain. 10 to 40 mm of rain may be received in different areas. The sea will be rough in the coastal areas of Oman Sea and West Musandt. The waves are likely to rise up to 1.5 to 3 meters. Wind will blow at a speed of 22 to 48 km per hour. Due to this, there is a possibility of dust clouds rising in the desert and open areas and the authorities have informed to be cautious.
