Reasons that affect the
bone marrow – The spongy cells of the bone marrow present in the bones form the blood. Due to them being affected, the cells get damaged and blood formation stops.
Injury in the bone marrow: Injury in the spinal cord causes its cells to be damaged and the process of blood formation is interrupted.
Hormone imbalance : In some cases the immune system damages the bone marrow due to hormonal imbalance in pregnancy.
Radio or chemotherapy: Bonamero’s cells are also sometimes affected by radio or chemotherapy given in cancer. It can be both permanent or temporary.
Viral infection : Most viruses are related to blood. These include Hepatitis, HIV, Parvo virus-B19 etc.
Arthritis medicine: The medicines taken in joint pain and certain antibiotics have an effect on Bonamaro.

Patients with cancer treatment with high doses, sprayers or employees of pesticides, pregnant women, victims of autoimmune disease are at greater risk.
Testing : Blood count test is done to find the number of RBCs, WBCs and platelets in the blood. A Bonamarrow biopsy is also performed if these counts are less than the prescribed quantity.
Symptoms: tiredness, headache, shortness of breath, dizziness, uncontrolled heartbeat, yellowing of the skin, body rashes, bleeding from the gums and nose and swelling of the legs, etc.
Treatment –
Aplastic anemia is treated according to the severity of the condition.
Blood transfusion: Red blood cells (RBCs) and platelets are increased when anemia occurs.
Bonamarrow Transplant: By taking stem cells from the spinal cord, they increase the number of patients in the lab and transplant them.
Medications: If the disease is autoimmune, then give medicines which normalize the more active immune system.
Rescue-Arthritis medicines should be taken only on the advice of a doctor.
Keep distance from insecticide or chemical. Take safety measures to prevent Hepatitis and HIV.
Note: RBC-oxygen replenishment, WBC-infection in the blood and helps in platelets-clot formation.
