Light earthquake in UAE; Residents felt the tremors

Fujairah: A slight earthquake was felt in Fujairah, UAE. An earthquake measuring 1.9 on the Richter scale was felt on Friday night.

The earthquake was felt at a depth of five kilometers in Al Hala at 9.57 pm UAE local time. Al Hala is near Wadi Tayyiba in Fujairah. The National Weather Service said residents felt a slight tremor. Meanwhile, there was no accident or damage in the UAE due to the earthquake.
