Elon Musk intends to turn the TV app into a super app that offers services ranging from messaging to peer-to-peer payments.
The American billionaire announced Elon Musk Long video clips will soon be available on smart TVs, after Fortune magazine reported that Social media platform “X” Which Musk owns, intends to launch a TV application for Amazon and Samsung users next week, as reported Reuters” today.
The platform rolled out an early version of video and voice calls to some users last October, after Musk said he intended to turn it into a super app that offers services ranging from messaging to peer-to-peer payments.

In a brief response on the “X” website to a user’s post about the possibility of watching the platform’s long videos directly on smart TVs, Musk said, “Soon.”

Earlier, Fortune magazine said that the application may appear similar to the TV application offered by Google’s YouTube. It quoted an unidentified source as saying that Musk was determined to compete with YouTube.
The X platform has not yet responded to a request from Reuters to obtain more details about the application.
