Abu Dhabi: After Oman, the UAE is also likely to experience heavy rain and strong winds for the next three days. According to the National Weather Service on Sunday, thunderstorms and hail are possible in some areas. According to the official notification, this weather will continue in the country for the next three days from Monday.
Heavy rains can cause waterlogging and flooding. Visibility may be significantly reduced due to the possibility of strong winds. This should be taken into consideration by the drivers. The National Meteorological Center has informed that the weather will change from Monday afternoon and it is likely to continue till Wednesday morning.
Winds up to 65 km per hour and rough seas are likely during this period. On Wednesday, the northern and eastern parts of the UAE will receive rain and then weaken. The current notification also says that the weather will return to normal by Thursday.

12 people died after heavy rains in neighboring Oman on Sunday. Among them is a Malayali. Sunil Kumar, a native of Adoor Kadambanad, died in an accident where he fell from a wall at work. Heavy rains are continuing in various governorates in Oman where the influence of low pressure is prevailing.
