Abu Dhabi: The Gulf countries are also worried about the conflict between Israel and Iran. UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held talks on Sunday night. The communication between the leaders of the two countries was on the phone. It is reported that the leaders of the two countries reviewed the conflict situation after the air strike by Iran the other day.

The official news agency of the UAE has also reported the discussion. According to the Emirates News Agency, the situation in the Middle East and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza were discussed and the leaders reviewed regional and international issues of interest to both countries.

At the same time, the central government started intervening for the release of the Indians, including the Malayalis, on the Israeli-related cargo ship seized by Iran. Union External Affairs Minister S Jai Shankar spoke to the Iranian Foreign Minister for the release of the Indians. External Affairs Minister S Jai Shankar said that the current situation was discussed and there is a need for diplomatic talks to resolve the issue.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had sent a letter to the Center for the release of the Malayali employees. The Chief Minister has sent a letter to the Union Ministry of External Affairs asking for immediate intervention to ensure the safety of the Malayalis on board the ship seized by Iran. In the letter, the Chief Minister demanded immediate intervention for the release of the Indians and to address the concerns of the families.
