SalamAir, Oman’s first low-cost airline, said that it is thrilled to announce the revival of two of its most sought-after summer destinations, Baku in Azerbaijan, and Almaty in Kazakhstan, in response to overwhelming travel demand.

SalamAir said, “Following a highly successful summer season last year, the decision to restart these destinations reflects the company’s commitment to meeting the preferences and desires of its valued customers.

Last year saw unprecedented demand for Baku and Almaty, with travelers seeking unique and vibrant experiences. The appeal of these destinations lies in their rich cultural heritage, picturesque landscapes, and a myriad of attractions that cater to a diverse range of interests.

The decision to restart services to Baku and Almaty is a testament to the popularity of these destinations and a response to the consistently high seat factor of 85% and 87%, respectively, experienced last year. The robust demand has encouraged SalamAir to prioritise these routes, ensuring that travellers can once again enjoy the enchanting beauty and cultural richness of Baku and Almaty has to offer.”
