  • More than 7 million employment contracts have been documented since the launch of the Contract Documentation Programme, which enhances transparency and protects workers’ rights.

  • Achieving a reconciliation rate of up to 77% in cases of labor disputes through the “Friendly” dispute settlement program.

Specific programs and initiatives:

  1. Initiative to improve the contractual relationship : The Ministry succeeded in activating the contractual reference in labor relations, which contributes to achieving greater stability and transparency in the labor market.
  2. Contract Documentation Program : The program has recorded great success in documenting labor contracts, which contributes to protecting workers’ rights and achieving integrity in labor relations.
  3. Wages Program : The program witnessed an increase in the percentage of commitment to paying appropriate wages to workers, as the percentage of compliance with the program standards increased significantly.
  4. “Friendly” program for resolving labor disputes : The program achieved a rate of reconciliation in cases of dispute between workers and employers, which reflects the effectiveness of the mechanisms used in settling disputes quickly and fairly.

Abu Thanin reviewed the efforts of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the labor market to combat trafficking in persons, indicating that the Ministry worked, based on its responsibility in the labor market, to implement and activate the national plan to combat crimes of trafficking in persons, which is based on four main axes: (prevention, protection and assistance, prosecution).
